The senseless killing of sharks for their fins is one of the most horrific crimes against life on Earth. Let’s put an end to the trade of shark fins once and for all.
Shark finning is an issue that the vast majority of people in the world are strongly opposed to, yet as long as a market exists for these high-value fins, then the killing of innocent sharks will continue.
Although shark finning is banned in all U.S. waters (Shark Conservation Act of 2010), the trade of these animals is still happening right under our noses. Currently 12 U.S. States have decided to move ahead with a fin trade prohibition, yet Florida is the ONLY state where two attempts to pass a bill have failed, despite the fact that it is now the U.S. hub for shark fin trade.
Now, YOU can raise your voice and tell the Floridian Government to ban the trade of shark fins!
